I got maps, directions, packing lists, emergency back-up plans, and permission from my mom. The only problem is that on the Warped Tour calendar it says they'll be in Virginia Beach on July 15. I tried to get tickets from the site and it said there weren't any stops there. Did it get taken off or are the tics just not on sale yet? I'm confused.

But I'm better now. I just felt like a real dumbass for about twenty seconds.

I spent the day with my mother's parents. And my grandmother described  my grandfather as a "stubborn old jackass."

I'm not kidding. I think it's trying to kill me with its appendix-like strength.

What the heck does it even do? Please-- someone enlighten me. I seriously would like to know.

I never update because no one cares, but today I'm doing it for the hell of it all. That seems like an okay philosophy to me. What about you? I've been doing alot of thinking and I've come up with a question for anyone who reads this:

WHEN THE WORST IS OVER, WHAT DO WE HAVE LEFT?

Surely we won't go on about our lives pretending to be happy. But maybe I'm wrong... What's your opinion? What are you thinking right now? In the end, it's not the impression you made on your friends, it's the impression you made on your enemies. It's about knowing if you changed their lives, whatever the outcome. Does that even make sense? Well, you probably don't care because I don't either. So-- about my life since my last update...

Band camp started last Thursday, and I switched instruments. I was playing trombone but now Mr. P switched me over to baritone. It's not a promotion or a demotion; more like lateral movement. I went and worked my ass off, finally getting to go home and...sleep until it was time to do it all again. I got my computer fixed so that I have Internet again. (See, it tore up at the end of March this year and I just now got it fixed. I've been using the computer in my mother's office.) And speaking of my mother, something is wrong. She's sick or something and she won't tell me what it is. I mean, on some days I hate that woman , but now I'm worried about her....It's so strange because we haven't gotten in any fights in a week or two now. I even cut my hair and streaked it with purple and black and she didn't say a word. Do you think it could be so serious that she doesn't even mind what I do?? I'm baffled, for lack of a better word. I went and saw Pirates Of The Caribbean 3 with my brother. It didn't suck, but it wasn't "Oh my God--freaking amazing" either. Probably I have no right to say that because I'm not a professional movie critic, but hey- this is my personal opinion here.

I bought some new books in a store downtown yesterday. Well, they aren't brand new, but they're in respectable condition. I haven't read one of them yet (it's called "Dark Debts" by Karen Hall.) I don't even know what it's about. The other is a book of poetry by a Russian writer. It's called "The Face Behind The Face". Interesting title, right? I thought so.

Has any one come across any good music lately? Right now I'm listening to "Best Of Me" by The Starting Line. Granted, it isn't a new song, but it's good. (But that's only in my humble opinion.) ...If you're under the impression that I'm being a smart ass, you assume correct. I'm tired and I just feel like being completely unreasonable. Hope you didn't think this was a waste of your time. (Probably it was.)
